Or goals scored trophies. Look, if you can't understand what drives results, fine, but the defense is clearly better.

clearly?

we conceded on average 1.53 goals last season per game

this season we are at 1.44 with still to play a lot of the top teams, I think at the end of the season it will be very much the same

last season we had cuco martina and Ashley Williams playing most weeks, I'd say it's done a worse job this season

So its clearly better like I said. Thanks.

Well, then there's reasoned posts that are just saying that the manager has made mistakes and perhaps isn't good enough, but also that a fair chunk of the players we currently have will take us nowhere and have to be blamed as well because at the end of the day they go out and play, not the manager.
The manager is the man instructing them how they should be playing. We’ve lost far too many games against inferior opponents this season and a lot of it has been down to the way he sets his teams up to defend.

It has been a persistent issue during his time in England and one that, should he continue to deploy, will cost him his job.

Should he lose his job here, he’ll never get a chance in England’s top division again.

At the end of the day we all know Sarri will be gone come the seasons end as Chelsea have ambition.

People will argue we are everton they are chelsea however the principle applies - if you appoint mediocrity and accept mediocrity then you become and remain mediocre.

Moshiri needs to do what he hasnt done since he joined the club and undertake (alongside Brands) a proper recruitment policy and interview a wide range of managers who have a track record of either league or trophy success in competitive leagues (england, spain, germany, italy).

If we keep this fella we'll at best finish bottom half next season or at worst be in a relegation scrap. If some fans are happy with that then fair enough but I imagine a fair few will sack it off having already experienced the past couple of disaster seasons.

The two fan bases are pretty much the same, both toxic as hell when things go wrong, only difference being their's are drunk on the past 15 years of success whereas ours are sober on 30 years of largely mediocrity

Both clubs have had issues with player power as well, Chelsea more so considering most of Chelsea's managers bar Mourinho (2 2+ year spells) and Hiddink (two interim spells) have lasted a year or less due to dressing room politics

Top clubs don’t interview multiple managers. That’s the sort of nonsense we do. Top managers don’t interview. If you want one you woo them for a while and then go begging to them to join. When Moyes left no top manager was going to be seen interviewing alongside Martinez Stubbs Weir and Neville.

It seems like we’ve gone full circle however and just go begging to mid table managers and offer them huge contracts to join.

One of these guys is clueless, can you guess which?
