Usmanov

So just to get this right, we are all getting giddy on this forum because some poster has put something on another forum saying that usmanov is buying in Everton?

Moshiri and Usmanov work together, that's huge. There's no money in other leagues, the premiership is where the big cash is.

I was struggling to understand why an investor such as Moshiri, that lives in Monaco to save some cash on UK tax would throw half of his fortune into us. Investors rarely throw their own money in and especially not interest free.

The answer is it's Usmanov. Well that's a working theory in any case. There are some that claim he's off to invest elsewhere, well maybe but like I said the big cash is here in the Premiership. Let's see what happens, there could be exciting times for us just around the corner.

It's not happening but it would make an enormous difference if it did. It's not even just the money he could put in himself ,it's everything that comes with it. Moshiri has put decent money in but it's not been huge sums (not a criticism just a fact), the difference that buying 3 or quality players that the manager/DoF really want makes, in comparison to bringing in a couple of loans and a free transfer, is massive.
Yeah but ffp has been installed exactly to stop this sort of thing happening, allowing the media companies to establish good old reliable brands they can sell to the armchair. Ffp is the reason Moshiri has to clear the squad out before we can offer anyone decent wages.

Doesn't FFP only apply to clubs that are in European Competitions? If you wanted domestic domination there's nothing to stop you spending what you like.

So let me get my head around this..

A new poster registers on an everton forum, posts that usmanov is close to taking over - then deletes his account? Not backed up by anyone respectable?

Great style of WUM in my opinion; just chucked the bait and legged it, not stayed around to get called out and trip himself/herself up by answering posts.

It's true I saw Usmonov and moshiri in Witherspoons on Lime St this morning, Usmonov had a full English with a sausage instead of mushrooms and Moshiri had eggs Benedict and chips washed down with a can of Dutch gold.

Apparently theres a kid coming through the ranks called Wayne Rooney, the way he is progressing could be In the first team in a couple of seasons.
Interesting to see how he gets on here
I've heard that he loves Everton and would never move, I doubt Kenwrigt would sell him not even for 50 million.

As we speak you'd need a good pair of binoculars to see that corner.

heavy amount that BUT if your prepared as on owner/shareholder to go out and spend 100 of millions to make your team great 50 million isn't much, for example, we went out and spent say 400 million on signings and made the champions league and got a 50 mill fine we'd have made that anyway by finishing higher in the league ( again I don't think we'll ever do that ) but do you know what I mean
