Usmanov

Everything you’ve ever posted ever is just digging at the club you supposedly support!
It's not mate, just this season, and rightly so. If you can be bothered, go back through my posts to happier times, you'll see the difference. If Everton are performing well, I am happy. If not, I will slate them. I don't think being a fan is about sugarcoating things when times are bad. I respect you brah, and I hope you respect my opinions.

That motorbike in the tunnel was brilliant. I heard he wanted the Mayans to convoy him out.
Need to get a tunnel built under Anfield asap. Get ultra strong magnets, with one hidden in the match balls obviously, and control the play from 20 metres below the ground.

Maybe I’m being a bit harsh. I do respect your opinions and everyone’s on here, it’s maybe frustration with all of us of what we have become as a football club, we’re stuck in a rut with no leadership from of the pitch to on the pitch to in the stands. I’ve never ever felt more “meh” as I do now and when Moshiri come in I was thinking here we go!!!! And look at us now lol. I want us to be great again but it’s looking more likely il win the lottery that i never put on.

Thanks mate! :) I hope we get better so I don't need to be such a negative nancy. Let's M(ake) E(verton) G(reat) A(gain)!

not that I think usmanov will come and spend all sorts of money, but don't see why people are so arsed abar this FFP, looks at the likes of city and PSG ( PSG mainly ) they get away with it every single year, then when they did get caught up in absolutely nothing happened anyway ( probably a little back hander to some fat fifa blurt )

It's not happening but it would make an enormous difference if it did. It's not even just the money he could put in himself ,it's everything that comes with it. Moshiri has put decent money in but it's not been huge sums (not a criticism just a fact), the difference that buying 3 or quality players that the manager/DoF really want makes, in comparison to bringing in a couple of loans and a free transfer, is massive.

Whats the difference from him being the public owner and behing behind the scenes?

For him he gets some prestige.

For us transfer fees of signings would go up and we would still be stuck with the current players due to the wage restrictions.

There's a massive difference. For one, there is nothing at all to suggest that he is behind the scenes. Literally nothing. In fact there's an awful lot to suggest he isn't.

We really wouldn't be stuck with the same players, it's a complete fallacy. Wage wise we brought in Bernard this year who is rumoured to be on around £150k a week. You can sign very, very, good players for £150k a week, but they won't come here at the moment because we're not an attractive proposition. If we had someone with the sort of money Usmanov could bring, and all the prestige that comes with it, that could change. The real big hitters find ways around FFP when they need to, there's no reason to think we'd be different.

He's going to use the club as his personal USM billboard starting with overpaying for stadium naming rights.

With our current salary outlay, we have a hefty enough budget to have a very good team assuming we spend smarter. That's where Brands comes in.

I said a few weeks ago, he needs to come out of the shadows now and take the helm.

The way we lure a world class manager to the club is with a man like Usmanov in charge, money talks and any world class manager wants funds. I'm not saying Mourhino but for example, if we approached him he would come if the salary was right and the transfer funds available.

In this league you can't half ass it, we've seen clubs that spend small fortunes drop down like a stone not long afterwards. You need to go in balls deep and spend big on the spine of your team.

Usmanov throwing his weight behind the stadium funding, a manager befitting this club and top players would transform our fortunes. You've seen a club like Man City transformed from a club that spent a lot of time fighting relegation season upon season now top of the pack. We can be up there competing at that level with this man.

None of the finances at this club made sense to me, not until you realised that part of the plan all along was that Usmanov would join us. Recent rumours would suggest this could be happening, and not a day too soon. First priority is getting someone the calibre of Mourhino on the phone and saying, what would it take to get you here.

Ive said it before, he's good at his day job, but there's nothing to say he'll be any better than Moshiri in a hands on role
