That's a really weird (and just generally awful) argument for defence isn't it? It's like arguing that Ted Bundy wasn't a murderer because he didn't kill everyone he met.

I just hope on the DVD extras we get to see his victims doing the moonwalk on his grave.
I don't believe he was a nonce personally but that isn't saying he didn't ever do anything that has to be classed as seriously inappropriate and wrong. He's not blameless despite what many persist.
The distinction I make is that I don't believe he touched or had kids do things for his own sexual gratification, just studying the bloke he was clearly an asexual (they definitely exist). There's no stories even in the younger years of him sleeping with groupies, women or men. Those kids he was raising, Prince, Paris and Blanket, are clearly not his. You telling me he knocked up or a woman or provided a sperm sample? Lisa Marie Presley said the bloke had no sex drive whatsoever even when she demanded it of him whilst they were together, it was as if he had no clue that intercourse between married couples is a regular and expected thing.
Clearly a seriously damaged guy who was taken advantage of but he was not without very real faults that he wouldn't address for the good of himself. He had plenty of money and the time to be able to get the professional help he so clearly needed to possibly make peace with his past and get himself together in order to live a healthy and proper life. He always refused to take responsibilty and instead played the victim whenever he could, like a kid.

but none of that means he did anything sexual with them! He was weird no doubt at all. The paying people off shouldn't be held against him, loads of famous people do it and it was his management who wanted it so he could carry on touring

They can have that opinion if they want but they can't go around stating it as if it's a well known fact, it was never proven in the court of law and all the evidence against was circumstantial and his word against another's. I don't care for the bloke much personally for the reasons I outlined in my previous post but it can't be one rule for him and another others. It's innocent until proven guilty in a democracy and like it or not he never was
