Uh, okay. So that was the defense's fault? I care about them, too. Goals and chances are decent contributors to wins and losses, don't you think?
Must be why we’re doing so badly.

Cool. Are we going to be 20th out of 20 in open play goals? 19th in shots conceded? 20th in fouls? I mean not saying its purely Silva, but we are soooooooo much better at defending. We actually concede very few chances, definitely very few shots per game.
No mate he's got a few days off before an all-expenses-paid holiday to a 6 star resort in Dubai next week.Sacked yet?
No.... sigh

I don't think so, especially in the instance where a manager would disagree with what was needed. That's a critical part of the hiring process. Or that the manager wouldn't be backed by the DofF. A massive part of the DofF role is picking the right coach. I would think if the structure was proper, it would have the opposite effect on the players. Meaning if a manager goes, things about the club aren't changing. Same vision. Same goals. Things are LESS likely to change. But the D of F can be fired, too.
Good post.
Bernard so far has done nothing.
Gomes had a purple patch that lasted a few games.
Digne lost his head a few times.
Mina looks a liability.
He was vs. Man City away. Sure he made a poor clearance for one and then played everyone onside for another.Does he?
I keep seeing this a lot but he's not actually been involved in our poor defensive displays. Just saying.
I agree, the way he had that carthorse of a Millwall strike force in his arse pocket was awesome.Does he?

kind of ironic considering your profile is of a guy who possibly represents the darkest period in the clubs recent historyAnd I shall continue to drill it home before and after every embarrassing defeat that comes in his tenure.

He has been a waste of space this season, given his huge fee.

He looks fine on the deck, but for someone who's about ten foot tall, he's yet to convince me with his aerial prowess, which should be his strong point like. Hopefully it's a confidence thing and he comes good.He played 45 minutes in that game and tbf was dreadful for their first goal.
But other than that and that moment of madness v City, he's done okay.

And yet our last 2 managers managed to get them to 7th and 8th.Perhaps this is the best the squad can do?
Its a mid table side with the experienced players a year older and some of them looking totally finished.
