It's gonna get worse before it gets better and barring a relegation he won't be getting sacked.

Best thing to do is just accept that at least once a week until the end of the season Everton are gonna disappoint us.

No chance Moshiri sacks him after chasing him for so long.

The fella is clueless no two ways about it

Your so wrong.
Mosh will sack before the toxic water laps around his toes.

He's not going anywhere
Correct.

Time for everyone to buckle up and support the manager and team and ride out a poor patch.

It certainly ISN'T the time to sack another manager.

There's no one on board with that at Everton FC.

9th....and after the wheels fell off months ago at Anfield. That tells its own story.

Young players need to find their feet and their confidence to bounce back professionally.

Silva can get us there. Ive seen enough in the games against Liverpool, Chelsea and recently City to know that..

I believe we are Villa 2.0. It's been bad for a long time. I feel bad for Silva as the previous 4 or 7 transfers windows have been terrible. He bought decent players and they all appeared to respond. However, he hasn't responded since December.

For everyone who is getting bent out of shape about being a laughing stock, I'm surprised that this has just hit you, it's been the same for years. We've had our bellies tickled numerous times a season by many a team. The Moyes tinted glasses brigade, I'm looking at you too. Remember though, this is just a metaphysical belief, football shouldn't ever compromise your wellbeing

Our club needs an overhaul. We need to get rid of Duncan and we need to get rid of 3/4 of the squad over 3 windows. We need a manager who expects players to run through brick walls, buy players who hate conceding goals, buy players who care.

The only way we can attract a decent manager now is buy paying him unfeasible amounts of cash, which sort of undermines the whole motivational thing.

I've no idea what I'm on about.
Agree with most of that although no team gets rid of 3/4 of a squad and neither will we, we're stuck with most of these thanks to the high wages we got them on Walcott, Tosun Keane, Sig etc,

I think it's a question of when, rather than if.

I think they'll be hoping Silva can get them over the line and change it at the end of the season, "the gamble" has shown nothing.

He's worse than Koeman, and remarkably, Allardyce.
As long we don't get a top, proven manager through the door it'll forever be revolving. I've said that before.

We simply need to go all out to attract actual, legitimate, proven WINNERS to Everton Football Club... otherwise there's simply no point.

Can he arrest a slide? It appears not. He has no record of it anywhere. This isnt even a blip. Its a total collapse. Losing 10 in 16 is utterly disgusting.

I'm worried just how bad this is going to get under Silva better it gets better. If it gets better at any point that is.

I have no faith. I don't even want a sacking. I don't have a clue what the answer is. But we are about to fall off a cliff on and off the pitch.

Hate the fact we re talking about sacking him, I'm sure we would all rather he was doing well, because we would be doing well. The question I'm starting to ask myself is even with some new players has he got what it takes, the way he becomes flustered when we concede are worrying me, even with better players, I think he's not as tactically adept as first thought.

What a horrible season and few years.

All you do is go against the consensus to argue the point. Your stance is boring and predictable.

As I've said in the past, if you was American you'd flip flop between republican and democrat depending on who was in power.

#Silvaout You can talk about long terms plans all you like, but if it's not good enough in the short term, rudderless attacking and hapless defending, then its built on sand. He isn't good enough now and I doubt he ever would be in the long term. Relieve him of his duties and get a interim coach in because keeping him will get very messy.

I doubt the sort of player Silva wants exists - I doubt even he knows the type of player he wants. I was buoyed initially by favourable reports of his ability to identify latent qualities in players which made him ideal for clubs on a limited budget. I’ve yet to see evidence of that too. He appears to have no redeeming qualities, this in my view, we cannot persist with him any longer- I cannot for the life of me see what he has to offer.
He'll be retained and given the first half of next season.

There is no other game in town. The DoF and owner both know he's trying to re-build with young players.

It takes time....although buyng him a much needed striker would have helped him enormously to keep the knee jerkers at bay.

It is what it is.

Onwards and hopefully upwards.

The season is one of experimentation, not points gathering. We're ok midtable.

The players just aren't there for any manager to make more of a positive impact than that right now. The DoF knows that.

We all knew this was going to be a bumpy ride. Please dont pretend we all didn't.
