ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

They’re still three points ahead lads. No one can celebrate given what that lot are like until it’s mathematically impossible for them to win it. It’s early February, the situation is better than it was but a long way to go. As deluded as they were to claim they’d go unbeaten and had already won it, it’s equally deluded to say they’ll choke it when they sit in all probability with a 3 point lead at the top.

They are very nervous though mate. That's what is fuelling the frankly ridiculous assertions that there needs to be some sort of enquiry as to why Everton put in their best home performance in about 3 months.

You can feel the momentum slipping from them. They need to turn it around very quickly. Lots of tough games to come as well, Wolves, Chelsea, United, Newcastle away etc.

The critical point for them at this season is whether this is actually just the mid season blip they tend to get under Klopp or whether they have really ran out of steam having been worked into the ground. I wouldn't wish to prejudice the outcome either way by suggesting at this stage, but it's an open question. Even if it's a blip the secondary question is how quickly do they come out of it? Their game in hand is away at OT, if they lose that then their advantage is completely gone. Even if they defeat Watford and Bournemouth (neither of which will be straightforward given how they are playing).

I remember saying earlier in the season they are 1 loss away from wheels coming off, around the time of the red star game. Fortunately for them they won at Watford that week and went onto a winning run that stabilised things very quickly. Bournemouth at the weekend feels very similar. If they lose that game I suspect things will begin to unravel big time.

Well I just done a predictor until end of the season and I got City winning it on goal difference, both on 93 points. Spurs behind in third on 90 points, then United, Chelsea and Arsenal.

Everton 11th, by the way.

That’s like one of those 12 points available in January threads
Never goes according to plan
There will be a lot of twists and turns in the title race

My RS colleagues in work have faces liked like a smacked a**e, and are reluctant to give me eye contact.

Is their something I should know?

Well the team with the bestest Goalie , the bestest defence ( including the bestest CB) the strongest midfield and the absolute bestest front 3 in da whole wide wooorrrlllldddd are second in the table

Wrong.
Are they 3 points Ahead ? Game in hand is united away so big ask to give them that as nailed on , not saying they can’t win it or the league but both far for done .
Correct.

I have no hope of eddie howe and co ( cant spell the team name) causing any problems.. west ham etc i did fancy to nick something but they have no chance imo...

Can hope but its unrealistic to expect anythin from them push overs... wish they where playing watford/wolves/palace someone like that

Bournemouth is the ideal game for them, unfortunately. The last 3 meetings between the teams have ended 4-0, 3-0 and 4-0. Howe will go there all wide open, sticking to his 'principles' and give the rats an easy afternoon and probably an improvement to their goal difference.

Vomit inducing. Please mate you lot have got to win the league or finish above them this year. They seem to have a proper dislike for Spurs after the 2-2 draw and there was glorious few month of Spurs fan rattling the RS on social media, it was great to see another set of fans deal with what Everton fans have put up with for years.
