He hasn't scored a league goal. He rarely gets in scoring positions full stop. He's certainly not a goal threat.

Yes, he has NEVER played football before he arrived at Everton. Nothing he ever did prior to us is relevant.

I also know this - he's NOT A CENTRAL MIDFIELDER.

Its not that relevant been honest no.
Same as lookman. He has not done enough to be a nailed on starter. Has played well but not done enough either.

If he was playing for City he’d look great as he wouldn’t be farmed out on the wing having to try and link play with yard dogs like Walcott and Calvert Lewin.

I think if he played in Siggardsons role he would be more effective, certainly more involved. If he played for city he would probably play more ina a David Silva role and wouldn’t look out of place. David Silva doesn’t play on the wing he’s intelligent and always finds pockets between midfield and attack. Which is what siggardson should be doing and I think Bernard is more capable of.

I was excited when we signed him.

However every time I watch him he loses possession and contributes very little.

"farmed out to the wing" - aka playing where he's spent the majority of his career

Good little player still adjusting a to a brand new league, a new language, a struggling squad and a lot more physicality than he is used to. I think some should hold off until next season, after a full season and a pre-season, he hopefully will be fully adapted. I find him exciting, we are a boring side, anyone who can offer some entertainment is fine by me.
