ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

It's such a shame City haven't been the team they were last season. This would have been almost over by now.

I just have my doubts about their mentality this season (I'm half expecting them to drop points to us tomorrow) and also the number of competitions they're still in.

Liverpool are pretty ordinary in actuality. They've been resilient and had the calls go their way. I still expect that to get them over the line at the end, unfortunately.
I was convinced the RS would win it a few weeks back but it deffo looks like the pressures on and as some of the boys on here have been saying that does transmit to the players. However were getting mixed signals from the officials 2 offsides last night the second one would have stood had he scored I'm sure on the other hand they should have had a pen against Leicester but didn't. That could have been down to 'dive like an Egyption' in previous games though. Lets hope the refs have cottoned on to the cheats

The only difference is that a few weeks ago Origi buries that last minute chance and Liverpool win that with 2 offside goals, oh and Maguire’s gets ruled out as well for no reason. They have 4 more points and are flying into the next game. The small margins that were going for them last year are going against them now. I think they’re actually playing the same. They were rancid against Leicester away, Fulham at home, Brighton at home, Palace away early in the season but got away with it. Those fine margins don’t seem to be falling for them now and long may it continue. Whilst City have flapped more than last season it will unnerve Liverpool that they’ve had 2/3 of a near perfect season with the stars aligning for them and they’re only 3 ahead. They will never have a run like they did up to the end of December again and they know it.

When is the VvD diet coming on the market? I just saw the Klopp presser after the W.Ham game, he said VvD was ill for 3 or 4 days and lost 4 kilos. If he can bottle whatever the bug was he could be on a winner there lollollol.

Just reminded my (non matching going) RS neighbour, that they have blurted £96.7 million on Keita and Fabinho.

He didn't look pleased. ;)
The funniest thing about Keita was they bought him a season before he could play, hearing them on the radio saying stuff like "just wait until Keita comes in" was comedy gold, then he turned out to be a dud and the make it even funnier they gave him Gerrard old squad number hahaha

Imagine Ferguson was still around, or even Jose and it was United or Chelsea chasing them down....those boys would have made his head explode.

And they would have started by raising a huge ruckus over biased officials trying to hand them the points last night with two outrageous play ons for offside men.

Ferguson in particular would have made referees and linesmen think twice before awarding them owt.

Mourinho did this in 13/14 when they had gone a spell of 7/8 games on the run with ridiculously soft penalties. You know the ones that Sterling isn't getting at the moment. He called out the officiating then and said everyone knows what's happening but Sky won't talk about it.

Mentioned the offside goal to a workmate this morning . He went , as expected , into full " Kopite Defensive Mode "
" Yeah , but the linesman wasn't looking at Milner , but the ball "
How about the last minute offside where the lino was looking directly at the rs player in an offside position ...

" Yeah , but ....."

" Oh just shut up "

He didn't even watch the match lol
