But of course, tell me about all these fantastic managers you know can do a better job cos they manage Hertha Berlin U23s and gengen press, or something

You can't keep sacking managers before they have the chance to implement their style of play and build their own squad. It has how we have ended up with the horror show of a muddled squad with no identity. The only players worth keeping other than the young lads and Pickford are the ones that Silva and Brands have bought in.

If we carry on with kneejerk reactions, we will end up getting relegated. It is how it ends for every club other than Chelsea.

You all need to stop whining and thinking that Everton have some god given right to success. We're not great, we've not been great for a very long time and it is going to take time and stability to fix that.

So a club relegates because the fans kneejerking?

People are not demanding sucesss now. They demand the team can do the basic, beating dross at home and has the ability to do basic defending.

"It is a project. The Everton fans quite rightly demand young football," Moshiri told talkSPORT.

"We want young players to develop - they need to play. Marco Silva is a talented coach but he's planning long-term.

"He will coach and develop those young players and every year those same young players will become stronger.

"In this business, you have to hold your nerve."

Thank Flip for that, sense in our times.

But it's part of our DNA. It's like the X and Y chromosomes which differentiate between male and female. We have an E one which makes us what we are....!

He said similar thing (total support) like 2 weeks before Koeman was sacked.

Which young players?

Sorry to disappoint you Farhad, but the likes of Tom Davies and DCL will never get to that high level.

The other young players we've paid big money, Richarlison, Mina, Keane - you don't buy them for the future at that price, you buy them at that price to perform right now. Heck I'd argue even Tom Davies. If he can't make a 5 yard pass or stop giving the ball away on the edge of his own box like he did the other day, then I doubt that's going to be coached out of him any time soon. Same as the stupid mistakes Keane makes.

Brands' vision is the complete opposite of what Moshiri has said there.

Their price is partially driven by their potential. Richy was 35-40M because he’s still got potential. Mina is definitely due to potential, he’s nowhere near the player he will likely become. Keane is 26, not sure he’s the best example.
