ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

Pellegrini, you SAVAGE.

Also, Pellegrini is not arsed whether City win the league or not, wtf is that kopite smoking? There's not some kind of great managerial conspiracy where Silva's on the phone to Pep going "oh please spank me Daddy."

Have Chelsea fans in stepfamily, can confirm they do not want Liverpool winning the league. My stepbrother hates them more than Spurs.

I know Chelsea fans too, as well as Spurs, Arsenal, Villa etc.

I do not know of a single one who wants that lot to win the league if their club cannot.

All are just stating 'anyone but the RS'.

The only person I know who isn't a kopite and wants them to win the league is a Geordie. When they beat City the other day he and other kopites were all going on about how Rafael is still a kopite at heart.

If City beat us and Chelsea, the balance has swung all the way back in their favour, for me. City'd be top, with Liverpool's game in hand coming at an OT that will be baying for blood.

Thought they looked a bit leggy there and I'd be amazed if they didn't have a sustained period where they look tired and ropy. The CL will be punishing for them too.

Massive week this... If City can win both games, it really piles pressure on Liverpool... Big champions league games to come, Liverpool don't have a big squad (City can cope alot better, although they have domestic Cup matches too)...Liverpool are only a salah or Mane injury away from a serious problem (been lucky so far)....

One city defeat this week though, and momentum changes again...

They are such jammy turds. Milner was in a different post code for their opener and that clown lino was stood about 5 yards away from him. They are the only club in the league that gets those decisions, and they wouldn't be in a title race at all if they didn't get those calls week after week.

Two consecutive draws against teams we all expected them to thrash is promising, but I'm not getting my hopes up because Pep Guardiola is an arrogant beaut and I'm convinced all his eggs are in the Champions League basket. Hopefully we can get his mind back on the job at hand by pitching our white flag on the centre circle on Wednesday.

I just hope this is the start of a glorious RS collapse. We just need them to screw it up this season and we can all live comfortably in the knowledge that VAR will mean they won't win a tin pot for the rest of their existence.

They are the only club I could see being content with that shower winning it.

Connection with Keegan, Beardsley and Rafael combined with 'look at me' fanbase.

My colleague is a Leeds fan. I asked him if Leeds getting promoted also meant Liverpool winning the Prem, would he accept that.

'We can get promoted next year'.

Sums it up :)

He despises them :)

If this was last season's City I'd have no hestitation in sticking a fork in Liverpool right now. However, City are going to drop a good few points yet.

For me the realistic betting would still be:

4/6 Liverpool
6/4 City

...a lot better look to the table than a month ago for sure, but still Liverpool's to lose.

Oh definitely - and their next game is Bournemouth, which they will win 5-0 and that rank little goblin Eddie Howe will pull himself off into oblivion about it.

But Spurs are now only 5 back as well and starting to motor.

That´s the consensus at my work too. One of the many Liverpool fans (all out of town) said he thought United were the team universally despised throughout England. Yes they probably are lad, but not in the same league as you lot.
