After reading all your doom and gloom on here I am unwavered in my caution. You have a good record against us, particularly at home. I'm not too optimistic, I certainly don't think you'll lay down and die. We should have spanked Newcastle and look what happened there.

I'm hoping you are saving all your energy and focus for Liverpool at Goodison, and don't turn up against us;)

Honestly lad you can batter us for all I care. Not even doom and gloom. I just can't have that rabble getting anywhere near that trophy.

Just make sure that bald fraud doesn't cock up again ;)

Hell with it, support the team. God knows we need it. Hope Goodison roars the boys on.

I mean, what difference does it make? We're not looking likely to get much. Would rather go down fighting and City win than sit there miserable and lose anyway.

More importantly I'd like to see the players give a good account of themselves against the Champions so we actually have something positive to build on going forward (esp with the derby creeping up). These "hope we lose 10-0" shouts are disgraceful, even if they're clearly in jest.

Oh I'll be behind us.

But in the same way that it was in 13-14.

Mainly I just want to see a performance. I want to see that we can put in some effort and graft. We'll see.

You can give Moraes the night off, as he won`t be needed.

I’m in work so will be watching through my fingers. I don’t think I’ve seen us win a televised game since the Gosling replay, hence my prediction of a 3-2 scoreline to the real Blues.

Good grief! 10 years ago today.

Thought he was going to stay with us after he shook hands with the tea lady but it wasn’t legally binding.

Maine Road Man - what’s the feeling on your forums. Do you think you’re going to win the title? You play as well as last year in some games but seem more vulnerable on the dodgy ones.

At least have the decency to lube us up first.
Those dry bummings can be painful.
I can’t see anything other than a mauling.

Hoping we line up something like this:

Because why not?

Good question mate.

On our main Bluemoon forum the general feeling after the Newcastle game was that game cost us the title. However with Leicester getting a draw there is an air of optimisation, especially after beating Arsenal.

Regarding the dodgy games, against both palace and Leicester we conceded two world-class goals that are impossible to defend against and they helped upset our apple cart enough to lose. And against Newcastle Aguero scores on 25 seconds iirc and within about 10 minutes we have another goal disallowed for a split second decision by the referee of the kick being taken too soon. After that was just kinda switched off a cat explained really.

I am quietly confident that if we don't suffer any more slip ups and keep the pressure on, Liverpool will begin to crack and drop points starting tonight hopefully.
