Watford have played a blinder getting shut of this fella for the new bloke.

Both average mid table managers but their current one atleast is balanced enough to grab the odd big win.

Both probably will end up going on to draw/lose but when you see how all the sides around us have beaten altleast one of the top 6 + get the 1/2 draws against them it shows how poor we have been and accepting of mediocrity like that 0-0 result.

The teams around us are just as flaky as us mate, hence why there’s a cluster of teams on similar points.

It was only a couple of weeks ago that some on here where creaming their keks over Pelligrini and West Ham.

Look how that’s working out !

Tonights results show exactly why we won't be finishing 7th. All the sides around us as gash as they are can still pull off the odd win or two against the top 6 whereas we simply can not.

We rely on beating the bottom 13 sides and we have been awful at that this season.

Fully expect Silva to be gone come the seasons end barring a drastic change in form.

I just can't imagine us doing what Bournemouth are doing to Chelsea. Or Watford to Spurs.
Players have changed and so has the manager. But the culture hasn't. We know our place. To be beaten by our 'betters'.

For all the good work Moyes did, that’s one thing he has seriously drilled into us as a club. It’s going to take a long time, and a complete fluke result or two, to shake that off.

Why will we sack him before the season to then bring in an interim? It’s not happening

Same points as us with a worse goal difference, which is shocking considering our poor run of form has been going for a month and included getting destroyed by Spurs.
