ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

In a weird way, I'm glad it's happened in a way where they simply deserve it and have been the better team.

I couldn't have lived with a title handed to them by referees and the Premier League.

They're not the best team in the league, but they're the hardest working and have the most desire.

All we can hope for is a collapse now, but if it doesn't happen, fair play to them. I hate it, but it is what it is.

I still think Liverpool going out of the cup was a great tactical move by Klopp, I know he put the subs on but their starting line up told better his intentions.

City can win all the nothing and meaningless cups going, only the champions league means anything and that has to be their only real aim now.

Liverpool have no fixture congestion, no distractions whatsoever, how small a trophy is an FA cup compared to the league, its nothing, absolutely nothing.

Going out of the cup wasn't small time at all, it was eminently sensible.

He knows he has a good first eleven but not the squad to match City, playing fewer games makes all the sense to me.

Their fans are already calling it the F. All Cup.

Few injuries/fatigue and the replacements aren´t good enough. How they´ve avoided any of that until now is some achievement.

Difference between us and them.

We spend 150m on Keane, Bolasie, Klasssen, Sigurdsson, Tosun. Spending money like it's going out of fashion with little to no plan as to how the players even fit in. We regress massively.

They spend 150m on Allisson and van Dijk. They specifically target their two weak areas and it immediately pays dividends, they win the title right away.
