I've changed my mind in the last 24 hours and now think we should let him play out the rest of the season. Mainly because I think we'll finish in the 13-15 range, and his results down the stretch will be so poor that nobody will blame us when he gets the summer sack. It will help with the PR war.

Silva is not technically astute enough to move this club forward, but the problems run much deeper than him alone. The players appear apathetic and there is no leadership on the pitch, Coleman is the only one who seems to give a [Poor language removed], but he is a shadow of his former self. But how do you motivate a player on 100+k a week who knows he’s not going to get dropped or his wages stopped? Managers get sacked at the drop of a hat, but players don’t, and they are intently aware of this.
Old school managers who dish out bollockings and beastings are a thing of the past- OGS isn’t a patch on Mourinho, but he’s a nice chap who the players like, so they allow him to believe he’s in charge. When the results turn they will down tools, he’ll be binned and it’ll all start again.
So, in short, Silva is gash, the players don’t give a fig, and we are stuck in this mire of mediocrity for another couple of generations. Happy days.

Cannot see Everton getting rid of Silva before the end of the season. It would be a bit pointless really as the season is effectively over and it is unlikely we will be in a relegation battle so why try and finish it with the upheaval of being Manager-less and needing a caretaker. There has to be very serious concerns and questions asked though as we have undoubtedly gone backwards in every area of the game and he currently doesn't look anywhere even close to being capable of turning things around. I suspect they will give him these last 15 games to prove he is the right man for job and then they will decide one way or the other at the end of the season.

Going to be a frustrating and sorry end to this season no matter what happens i think. Can see us getting beaten again on Tuesday with how poor we are now.

Finish around 6th and 7th place consistently and never win a trophy.

What did we do under Martinez? Finish in the bottom half and not win a trophy.

You see the difference? Both garbage but one is worse then the other.

BTW, as for "bottling games" could you please name one single game of significance that we won under Martinez?
Sick of the constant re-drawing of Moyes years. We did well with no money, in fact considering our transfer budget very well. He never had the confidence to go head to head with the bigger teams away from home..a failing. With the budget Koeman had he would have won the treble. He is the ONLY manager worthy of the name since Kendall.
