I honestly wish we'd of just let BFS see his contract out at this stage. It couldn't of been any worse then this. It probably would of been considerably better as we'd at least of know what we were doing even if it was garbage to watch. We'd of been free of him In four mouths and able to peruse a good manager but no for some reason the powers that be were desperate for Silva. The lengths this club has gone to in pursuit of this clown is enough to make me weep. I truthfully don't know what the answer is anymore but I know it's not Silva and the longer he's here the more damage he'll inflict.

He is like a combination of the downbeat Smith mixed with the cluelessly weak Mike Walker.

From the moment he was totally fine with Klopp legging onto the pitch he declared himself an alsoran, and it has shown massively since.

I don't think he has it in him to turn this mess around. His body language is that of a defeated man and the setup/coaching appears to have all but stopped by recent showings.

Sound out a proper manager for the Summer.

This season is dead apart from cheering on Manchester City.

The cup exits have been disgraceful too and cups should be priority in our situation. The season is over in January. That's how he should be judged. Not whether we come 9th, 10th, or whatever.

It's utterly demoralising for the supporters to have such lamentable, uneventful seasons. It shouldn't be tolerated. We exist to fail. There is literally no point to us as a club. Why is this tolerated?

Well from what was said the FA Cup was a priority and it's not like he fielded a weak side. I think he fielded the wrong side, but we can't say he didn't take it as a priority, can we.

I feel your pain and understand but surely it would be even worse with Allardyce here. The very fact he was appointed to save the club from relegation is a stain on the club that marks us alongside the Sunderlands and Crystal Palace's of this world. Thank god he's gone. The real shame is the fact that the clueless idiot who owns the club genuinely thought that Silva was the key.

Probably would be in a similar position with fat Sam here, but would have not conceded as many and would have held out for a 0-0 derby draw.

There are early signs of something developing at West Ham, albeit slowly and inconsistently. Pellegrini has already beaten United and Arsenal so far this season, and he's attracted a truly exceptional player in Felipe Anderson.

Silva has multiple opportunities to get a couple of signature wins under his belt in the next two-to-three months, which I think would keep him in the job into next season. That said, I believe that another humiliating home defeat would see him sacked.

There were early signs of it improving with us as well.

It's easy to forget that from late September to the start of December we looked very good and had got ourselves into 6th heading into the derby.

Can't really say there's been any more signs of improvement at West Ham. They spent more money than us in the summer and i've watched them a lot for work this season - the main plus they have that we don't have is a quality striker.

No I said we need top proven manager and even Newcastle and West Ham got superior manager than us having Silva. Yea stick with him and get beaten by West Gam and Leicesiter at home. “Progress”. Have fun.

You are talking bulls. And I have given names about a top proven manager before. Conte, Jose. These are winners.
And they won't come to us.
Surely you can see that.
And in our conversation today I never once said we are progressing. But we will not progress under Audrey Roberts or the fat Spanish waiter either

I'm not criticising his team selection. I'm criticising how poorly we played and how awful we defended. The set play defending is his fault. It's a basic part of coaching. We are not well drilled and look completely disorganised. He can pass buck onto referees and players but he is ultimately responsible. I can live with the mistakes in September and October as we get used to his methods. But it's almost February now and it's completely unforgivable that we are now defending worse.

I'm demoralised with him, the players and the club as a whole right now. I want him to turn this round but I have no hope whatsoever. I think this is beginning of the inevitable. I'm fed up with the lack of pragmatism defensively. Either he's not putting in enough work on the training field or he's a rubbish defensive coach. I'm at a loss.

We’ve drawn at home to Newcastle, Watford and Huddersfield and lost at home to West Ham.

We’ve been knocked out the cup by an awful championship side who are actually 19th in that league.

Why some people see this as worth carrying on with is a bit nuts IMO.

The football is completely flaccid and has been bordering on totally pointless since the derby match.

Failing to see how this mercenary of a manager is considered worth pursuing with.
