Huddersfield are fodder. Three points there. Wolves at home will be one we can win. 6 points in the next two games gets us top half and wer can get some confidence back.

Wow being positive there.
Huddersfield-. Need the points-. New manager-. Who can kick start a revival-. Step forward. Everton!!!!

It's Huddersfield and Wolves, not City and Liverpool.

We have the quality and it'll be made to pay. Two wins = top 8 or thereabouts. Panic over.

To be fair dave, we had the quality to beat Leicester Southampton Palace Newcastle milwall etc

It’s the abject performances and sterile defending which is missing.

If I see a change in formation and people clearly punted from the 11 I’ll have hope that’s he got a grip of them and is laying down the law. Unfortunately I believe it’ll be “same as before lads, we go again”

We were beaten, he looks appropriately beaten.
I think the larger issue Dave is that that he looked dearth of confidence before the game; in fact, he's shown a somewhat lack of confidence and energy as of late.

Obviously it's only conjecture on my behalf, however if this is true then it's not unfair to consider that this may be hampering his efforts with the players?

It's hard to inspire others - if not nigh on on impossible - and revitalise our playing style when you lack confidence yourself, or at least aren't showing it.

Don't get me wrong it is easier said than done, but any leader needs to show optimism, confidence and other leadership qualities when times get rough. Can he?

In layman's terms, Silva looks a beaten man who is totally bereft of confidence and the players are simply echoing this with their (lack of) play on the pitch.

@COYBL25 mentioned it correctly: we seem to have no fight and simply give up when times get tough.

He looks a beaten man at the moment but why he keeps trying the same things over and over is beyond ludicrous.

He gets until the end of the season, barring disaster, as he should, and then we evaluate then.
Watford sacked him at the same point last season for similar results.

They said it was our fault.

He doesn't have that excuse in the general sense now.

Which is very worrying.......I agree end of the season but it's not looking positive for me that he can consistently do this.

He's wasted a season. We're not an experiment for his ego. I've lost all hope in him.

What d'you mean an experiment for his ego?

You always act like it's personal Tim. He's not trying to lose. At the moment he doesn't look like he has a clue and that's a worry. I don't think it's arrogance.

We have to stop chopping and changing managers in the middle of a season. It doesn't help. Sack now and you have to bring in a fire fighter and it just makes the entire situation worse.

He gets a whole season, it's wasted now anyway. And then come the end of it there'll be serious questions. It's either we go forward with a clear remit of where he needs to be after a certain number of games, or we say goodbye.

Tbh if we lose on Tuesday it may well be too much. But there's more than just Silva to blame as well.

Panic over? You think this run from early December isn’t enough cause panic anyway? The fact he has presided over such a run twice in his career shows that he always has it in his locker.

Sack.

When you see something isn't working a rational person tries something different to improve. To keep defending the same way after all these months of mistakes is completely daft. I can only put it down to being headstrong and stubborn. As I said, we aren't any experiment for him. He has to change but I doubt he will.

Yesterday was the worst defensive performance I've seen from an Everton side. 3 of the worst goals I've ever seen to a woeful side who didn't even play well. That's why I've lost all hope. He wouldn't even acknowledge any responsibility in interview. Lack of maturity and bad refereeing he said. Insanity and Einstein is what springs to mind.

If we lose at Huddersfield, why does he still get to the end of the season? It’s another failed project at that point. It is pointless keeping him, we need to be building for next season for which he will have no part of.
