Oh I know he did. I can buy into a building project if I can see some sort of style trying to be implemented. But I haven’t seen that since October, it’s been a very painful experience watching what looked like a quite counter attacking team just fold

He’s looking very out of his depth, no structure to the play, no continuity, players being left isolated all over the pitch.

We’ve struggled to create chances against poor PL teams, but against an awful milwall side is a sign that he his struggling for ideas

I though Leicester and Southampton were embarrassing displays. The dial has been reset in the third consecutive game
I wont give you an argument about how poor it's been since the derby. But up until then we were ok and progressing steadily. Silva was avalanched by a mountain full of unshift-able low morale and lack of character amongst the first team squad post Liverpool game. That;s the Everton malaise right there and it would tax the greatest managers in the league to overcome it in 6 months.

Needs time and will get it, though perhaps not beyond the autumn if we go into a slump like now.

We paid Sam 6m for 6 months work.

Moyes was earning 4m a year.

Koeman earning 5m a year.

It's not the money. Conte simply won't come here to a lower midtable club in crisis. A complete nightmare job where fans are craving success instantly due to being starved for 25 years. Poisoned chalice is what we are.

He overpaid on Koeman because he lost out on Emery. Fat heads agent played a blinder, he deserved credit for that

Steve Walsh had his input on Fat Sam. Again Moshiri got took the cleaners because Silva wouldn’t be let go

A top manager will change their tune when a fat wedge is put in front of them

Difference being that Silva is not the clueless tactician Koeman and Allardyce both are. He has a strategy agreed with the DoF and I FULLY expect that to play out beyond this season.

The quick kill scenario for those wanting Silva out is not remotely on the horizon. When all is said and done the owner merely wants a club that is top 10...and that's well in Silva's grasp even this season.
Honestly mate you need a mental heath check.

Utter and complete delusion.

And if they are a top manager they will know they have no chance of doing anything here without SERIOUS money.

Something we dont currently have.

To move on you need a top top coach who is proven

Proven in what respect? Silverware? As a player (i.e command of dressing room)? As an Evertonian? Or simply in the Premier League?

Not that I think we could get Mourinho, but it shows that prior experience isn’t everything. Henry was one of the best players i’ve ever seen and his time at Monaco has been a disaster. Arteta wouldn’t be right for me (I don’t think an affinity with Everton is at all important - I actually think it would work against us) and there’s few managers with more PL experience than Big Sam.

It goes to show that whichever route you go down, there is no guarentee. For me, the single most important thing: Culture fit. Personality. Ambition. Does all that align with the club?

As nobody knows the lengths of the club’s genuine ambitions (which is a major frustration for us all), it’s impossible to even suggest possible replacements. Either way, I think most blues are rapidly reaching the conclusion that Marco was the wrong appointment.

The starting 11 is good enough to be well away from the likes of Leicester and to be within reach of the top 6. It’s not an overnight fix but the project is there apparently.

If not then we may as well just give up

You have looked at the remaining fixtures Dave... with this woeful inability to defend any kind of set piece ??
I expect 6 points from the next two games, and I expect 20 points from the last 15 games looking at them.

50 points will get us top 10 comfortably.
