He really is Dave. It’s like watching 11 individuals, people cottoned on pretty quick and now everyone can easily stop us.

Sit on Gomes and press, game over

He ain’t going anywhere this season so we’ll so how this pans out. My guess will be 13th is we’re lucky

The club he came into was a mess. Let's not forget that fact.

He's had 6 months and we've seen the good and the bad of Silva. I'm willing to see what he can do with a striker worthy of the name and also a better GK and right side.

He gets those reinforcements he's THEN there to shoot down.

That’s a very calm response to tonight’s events Dave. Given the upcoming fixtures, if what you predict is to come about, we’re about to see some brilliant performances from this disjointed mess of a team. I’m very much looking forward to it.
...we saw what a narrow derby defeat could do...do you not believe that a derby win could see the opposite effect? I do. I cant wait till we play Murder Inc.

You've changed your tune.

Should they though? Wins as in plural yes, or big important games, but not one against Huddersfield surely

If I am honest with you carlin, I don’t think we will beat Huddersfield.

In fact, I think we will lose.

We are facing a double whammy.

First up, there is the “new manager bounce”.

They have a new manager.

Then there is having the Sequence Busters as opposition.

They ain’t won in their last ten games or sommat.

Who ya gonna play....... :)

He’s not mate
We paid Sam 6m for 6 months work.

Moyes was earning 4m a year.

Koeman earning 5m a year.

It's not the money. Conte simply won't come here to a lower midtable club in crisis. A complete nightmare job where fans are craving success instantly due to being starved for 25 years. Poisoned chalice is what we are.

...well let's find out. What we do know is that 11th in his first season with 7th within reach is not sackable territory.

Best get used to the fact that Silva is here for the short term at the very least.
We'll find out soon enough.
He was warned in public a couple of weeks ago (not good enough) and nothing has changed.
Just a matter of time mate.

Not this early. No chance. Too much time and effort spent on getting him in.

He will get time and at least another window of players in. That's just the reality of the situation.

We'll finish top 10 this season and it'll be accepted as a good enough start. Nothing surer.

Oh I know he did. I can buy into a building project if I can see some sort of style trying to be implemented. But I haven’t seen that since October, it’s been a very painful experience watching what looked like a quite counter attacking team just fold

He’s looking very out of his depth, no structure to the play, no continuity, players being left isolated all over the pitch.

We’ve struggled to create chances against poor PL teams, but against an awful milwall side is a sign that he his struggling for ideas

I though Leicester and Southampton were embarrassing displays. The dial has been reset in the third consecutive game

We're not getting Conte, but we really shouldn't of gone for a manager who failed in his last two jobs.
I'd have Arteta me

I'm on the fence because I blame the players and the recruitment as much as the manager who obviously has flaws. Second we can't keep sacking managers because its a sticking plaster to deeper problems we need a manager to build his own squad. Three who would we appoint? Who would Brands recommend ?Who would want the job when they know they will likely only get six months?

That's an extremely brave prediction Dave.
