I'd take Gomes off. He's been off it a few weeks, we need something else in the middle of the park.

I think he's carrying an injury or struggling with the game time/intensity.

He has looked poor since the derby apart from the odd game but there are no options to replace him with.

Yeah. I've no problem with our approach play...there's just no focal point.

Richarlson is doing what he can but he's not a striker. He cant link up play or is clever enough to be in the positions a striker would be.

Honestly would play Tosun.

Guess what we discovered in this game? Nothing. Richarlison isnt a striker, already knew that, we turn the ball over too much in midfield, and when Siggurdson isnt scoring hes still not any good.

Richarlison either needs to be replaced or go back wide. Sigurdsson is too easy to keep out of the game

That wouldn't solve anything. It'd just end up with us going long and playing into their hands. Issue is we've got nobody dropping into space in front of their defence. We've got Gana-Gomes, then a 20 yard gap to Gylfi.

Disgusting half of football, as we're used to. No excuses for Silva here. He's got many good players at his disposal but he's massively underperforming virtually every week. The football is dire. If BFS was 2/10 for style then Silva is perhaps a 3 or 4/10. Just not working at all.

That half of football was Moyes away from home when we had an injury crisis. Today we have no injuries... I don´t understand why the interplay between our midfield and forwards is so poor. It has been since Martinez left. Looks like they´re just thrown together on the pitch and don´t actually train with each other.

I’d get Gylfi off for Mina, bring Bernard back to pull the strings from CM and put Lookman up top with Richarlison.

Think Bernard looked our best player that half, some lovely touches and most good things we did came through him. Need to keep getting him on the ball
