Thought Bernard has been excellent the last three or four games, though as Dave points out, not massive, puts his foot in and battles as much as the next man. Pienaar wasn't massive but like Bernard is a baller and fights above his weight.

Wont be until next year that we see the best of him while he adapts.

Shows some top quality play in flashes but still getting used to the pace.

‘Carra’ Was waxing lyrical on the commentary about Clyne all game and how he had dealt with our wingers.

Next minute Bernard spins him with one touch and leaves him for dust.

Will always have time for Bernard due to the sheer amount of work he gets through and the fight he shows.

I honestly dont know how people are persuaded by him.

I'd love it not to be so because I like creative players, but the feller is like some South American fancy-Dan player that a Championship club fanbase would love but who's not really top notch.

He's not for this PL. I've seen enough of him to know that. Unfortunately.

he gives defenders headaches because he will always run at them, doesn't pass back very often, he's hampered by us not having a top centre forward but he creates acres of space for a certain Lucas Digne who is thriving, he brings others into the game and keeps full backs occupied but stats n size n no pace etc
