Maybe if he paid us to play.
Brands probably has people scout them and assess the financial aspect of acquiring the player then accepts or denies his requestSilva talks a lot about him picking the targets and him asking for players. Little confused as to Brands’ role there.
Totally disagree with that. If anything he doesn't play the ball backwards or sideways enough, he plays balls as if he can pass well when he can't, and would be much better just keeping it simple.Gana passes backwards every time tho , if he had a chance to play a through ball he’s still do a 180 and pass to the cb
I'd say less than half of those appearances are 90 minutes

What's new.If we sell Gana and dont replace him immediately it will be an incredibly stupid move.
agreed, although we did get Gana from relegated Aston Villa...
Seconded. I think he watches other people effortlessly spray it around the field, then he tries and it’s like watching someone kick a balloon.
He has an unreal engine and a good reading of the game, just win it back and give it to someone who has the creativity
True but then you wonder would we ever get that sort of fee for him again? He needs upgrading at some point after all.
Which is spot on but the onus has to also be on other players (i.e. Gomes, and yes, Gylfi) as well.
Gomes is clearly tired and has been struggling with a knock, compounding a spell of iffy form. Teams have made this worse for us by doubling up on him, which means Gana is seeing more and more of the ball. Think Gana gets one step ahead of himself at times, and that's when it costs us.
Think the tactics are slightly off as well, there’s a massive void in certain areas with a severe lack of movement.
But the Gomes thing has been really evident. They just flood him as soon as he gets the ball.
And I will hold back on a Gylfi rant in this thread
Not happy but if he wants to go and a big bid comes in then maybe it will work out better in the long-term. Good player but at 30 we need to be moving on anyway. I feel like we need to restructure the whole midfield. I would be playing three in there(Gylfi shouldn't be an automatic in the number ten we just can't afford to give him that luxury ). And we need more options for that the current ones are either substandard or only good at one or two aspects of the game. We need power and physicality in there along with better passing and players to drive us forward. A Doucoure type essentially.I know matey, my point was half in jest. There's certainly plenty of good players out there. Just don't think we should be selling - or mainly I don't understand why fans seemingly would be happy to sell - one of our better players halfway through the season.
