Compared to Keane he's Maldini.

I've not seen Holgate have pure horror shows like Keane has. That's not just bad games, that's pure nightmares like Keane has.

I always said that this guy is massively overrated among fans. He is just mediocre and could make terrible mistakes every match. Sure he can get good matches here and there but cannot be our regular defender. Holgate is better than him and loaning the kid instead of shipping Jags was a mistake.

He's mid table at best, he has no pace whatsoever and his reading of the game isn't anything special where defenders with no pace have that in abundance.
