A City win is imperative. If they can get it then it’s squeaky bum time going into January. Anything less and it’s Liverpool’s to lose and you’d argue City don’t deserve it if they can’t put them to the sword on their own patch.

Problem is that it looks like to me that players and managers are just writing the games against Liverpool off. Desperately need someone average to take points off and prove it can be done.

Have you read the link you've posted? The article is a piss take out of city's inability to sell out their ground. Nowhere in there does it suggests away fans buy tickets in the home end. In fact it makes the point the tickets are only available to fans who've attended the etihad this season.
