Now they are out of Europe can't see much point in a Scottish move just not the competitiveness, Sheffield Utd is a much better test! Last chance for him at Goodison, must progress now for any more matches with Everton.

Made up he has gone to a team wanting to play football rather than going up to Scotland where everyone would be looking to chop him as soon as he gets on the ball. Shame we couldn’t have gotten a loan abroad a la Lookman because think Dowell would thrive in the Dutch or German leagues. Reminds me of Bilyaletdinov in so many ways. Hopefully this loan will give him a kick start as he has different attributes to other players here. He just needs to understand you can have all the ability in the world but if you dont apply it properly you'll not make it.

He was around in the Cahill years and never got a look at what would have been his best position as a number 10. Some of his goals were out of this world didn't work hard enough as a winger when compared to Pienaar.
