I see Southampton appoint a highly rated coach who has just beaten Arsenal.

Obviously early days but it is annoying how lesser clubs like Southampton and West Ham appoint somewhat proven managers whilst Moshiri couldn't see past a relative novice who had a decent start at Watford but that being it.

I'm not knocking Silva btw, I just think some fans are backing him without being willing to look at everything objectively.

We spent £85 million on 3 players in the summer, we have another £50-60 million talent here on loan (Gomes, Zouma) yet we are 8th behind Wolves and level on points with Watford and Bournemouth.

No one is saying sack him however I think anyone who's saying:

A. He needs backing

Or

B. We've improved massively as a side

Are off the mark.

If we sign 1-2 players in January and finish the season strongly in 6th/7th then fair enough he's earned his corn... but at it stands I refuse to be on board the Silva train until results start to improve.

I think what you’re looking for there is the term ‘new manager bounce’ mate. If you would rather Pellegrini than Silva well... yeh.

His in game management is baffling too.

His body language is that of a nervous wreck on the sidelines.

As I say mate just look at things objectively - Pellegrini has gotten to CL Semi Final's, built a side that challenged the big 2 in La Liga and won league titles and trophies in England.

Silva won a title in a pub Greek league.

People prefer Silva because he's fresh, young and handsome whilst Pellegrini is old and looks like a Sith Lord.

In any other job in the world Pellegrini would get the job head to head as he simply has a much more impressive CV.

If people want to argue against that then fair enough they obviously dont work in any managerial role involved in recruitment.

Pellegrini was City manager???? What did you expect him to do, finish 9th or something?

How havent people put that utter mutant on ignore?

Hes not Everton him.

Yeah because Im not a sheep that makes me a kopite ha maybe go through my posts ripping apart actual kopites like that Hong kong toffee bloke on the stadium thread or come for a pint pre match if you dont think im a blue you fool.

£150 million of talent in the side from the summer (including the 2 loanees)

Yet a worse start than Koeman and Alladyce

0 wins against the top 6

Dropped points against West Ham, Huddersfield, Newcastle, Wolves, Bournemouth and Watford

Maybe look at things objectively instead of acting like a child because people dare question what they are seeing week in week out.

This is why massive Blue Bill Kenwright failed as owner because when you're a supporter you see things with Blue tinted glasses rather than looking at things objectively and analytically.
