Mourinho stated he wants him if he loses his keeper
And
If you keep your eyes open and take your blinkers off pickford just made his second game saving stop
All you do is hang in to the negative and ignore the obvious quality he has

Im not part of criticising Pickford, but you say Mourinho ‘stated’ he wants him, I know nothing of this bar some RUMOURS in the press, I’d be very surprised if Jose come out and stated it though. Or do you think transfer speculation is fact?

So frustrating. Bernard for one, does well to get in and win the ball but it always trickles to another City player. Playing too many square passes inviting pressure and eventually giving it away or long ball to nowhere.

I'd take DCL off and put Davies on. Try and get a grip on midfield. Silva trying to be far too idealistic playing from the back. Team needs to move forward ten yards and start playing direct. Get city turning towards their own goal.

We can recover this but Marco needs to be brave at ht.

Coleman off, and Walcott on as a wing back. We need the pace that Walcott offers.

We are missing Gueye and we need to stop trying to play out from the back as much as we are. Let Walcott and Bernard get wide early and look long for them or for DCL with Siggy and Richarlison playing for the flick on etc.

City haven't really created that much, other than our lapses. That said they haven't gotten out of 2nd gear. Zuma looked really confident and composed. The presence of Gana would've helped today.

Still loads to play for here, we've not gotten going either. Walcott and Lookman will help to change it in the 2nd half.
Richarlson and bernard of walcott and lookman on.

Upto the goal we were containing them and looking dangerous on the break, and should have been 0-1 up anyway, after the goal they've got their tails up but should still be 0-0 had it not been for Mina stinking the gaff out.

This is the best team and richest football club in the world, and we are still in with a chance of getting something from this game.

I missed most of that first half but let me guess, we looked decent, maybe even made some good chances byt then give away a daft goal / ref is a tw@t? And then since conceding we've looked lost?

City put so much pressure on when they dont have the ball. We haven't helped ourselves either tho. Their goal solely due to errors rather than good play. Sounds crazy but I think we should put richarlison up top with dcl, walcott on the right and take a cb off.

Got to change this tbh, at least have a go at them, this system has totally marked siggy out of the game. Think gomes has been quite wasteful and although he's had nothing, the odd time Calvert-lewin could do something, he's executed poorly. Of Silva wanted pace up there why didn't he try Walcott instead? These games are always too big for dcl.
