We seem to have this weird snobbery at times.

We all know what we get with Niasse. He is ungainly, he does some really odd things but one thing he does give you is goals and creation of chances. Somehow some way he always ends up getting chances or makes chances for others. He has done it in the top flight for different teams, done it in different leagues, even done it at international and European level. He is certainly erratic, even from minute to minute but we should have more than enough talent in our side to cover for that.

Nobody is claiming he is the new Pele, but if you need to chase a game and grab a goal he is a damned good option to have even for 15-20 minutes.

I would actually say the revisionism is more from you than the people saying he has his uses because his although his "ability" can probably be questioned his track record and results really can't.

Again nobody is saying play him every minute of every game, but when chasing a game and you need a goal...then why not Oumar? He has proven he is capable of playing that role.
