They play the exact same role. Central midifled playmaker.

Its just that gomez is more all-rounded and can defend better.

Arteta was a good player in an average to decentish side.

If Gomez left us in Jan....he wont have been as good for us due to less games ONLY, but he is a better player.

You talk like MIkel was world class, and he was never the best on in the prem.

He was good, but not like the level Gomes is showing

He'll join us. I have no worry about that. It's whether Barca want to sell, or think they can start a bidding war.

I'd just give them the £35m and be done with. He's worth it.

Pretty sure Brands has suggested that it will be down to Gomes in the end.
