They’ve got form now with their coach antics, you would like to think EUFA will be keeping an eye on them when Napoli roll into town.
Who knows.. hey. Even the Police intelligence gatherers might be arsed to seek more conclusive evidence than that which eluded them last time because of the red camouflage smokescreen they permitted.

Watching last night, we HAVE to go all out on Gomez at RB, he was the weak link last night. Ricoo RW would work best imo. Unfortunately, we just do not have the front man to make it work.

Gomez won't be at right back on Saturday. It will be Alexander-Arnold, who was rested last night. And I don't expect Milner to play either.

Liverpool have a lot of difficult games coming up, including Napoli. Klopp will have to spread the load over all his squad, but I expect us to play our strongest team.

THIS, I knew it would be someone else but could not think who. Trent is a different proposition altogether BUT, would still like Rico to have a go at him not Bernard.

I think we will sit a bit deeper than usual to prevent the long ball over the top. Pickford has to be ready to come out and collect. Think it will be similar to the Chelsea game conceding possession but staying tight at the back yet creating chances from breaks. If Liverpool score an early goal then they will go a little deeper trying to bring us on to them so they can break.

wouldnt be surprised to be alot of changes for them, i think shaqiri, alexander-arnold, sturridge and keita will all start...maybe even fabinho as well

I was massively underwhelmed with them last night. They only looked somewhat dangerous with them long throws from Gomez. Even their long diagonals weren't working. No doubt we'll get the Liverpool from last season though.

I understand why but think its pointless to talk about previous derbies and our record there. This is a completely different Everton, even to last year. There are enough players (and a manager) without derby mental scars to worry about that.

Its more relevant to look at games against Arse, Man u and Chelsea this season as a barometer. Only 1 point doesnt bode well but there were periods of dominance at Arse and Man U and chances at Chelsea that makes me feel like wins at these types of grounds aren't too far away. True the RS are better than any of those 3 but we now have our best 11 fully match fit.
It all comes down to what we didnt do in any of the above games, take our chances, we will create them.

I can see us restricting them to 1 goal. After their game last night, as someone mentioned they wont be able to maintain their high press for 90 mins. It doesnt matter if we only have 30% to 35% of the ball if were clincal. Coyb, we can win this

We ain't clinical though. We don't work the goalkeeper anywhere near enough and don't take most of the chances we make. Even with Sigurdsson on set pieces we can't even convert from corners or his free kicks. We need massive luck to beat them.
