They really aren’t too good at the moment. They have had some decent results but not through playing well. They tend to have a good 30 min spell against teams where they manage to get a few goals but their results have flattered them.

Recently they have played Watford who have started their usual decline after a good start, Fulham who aren’t good, Cardiff who are bottom of table and who just rolled over for them. But against any half decent teams the results have been close and only winning by one like Leicester or brighton.

They are grinding out results and Fulham and Watford should have both been ahead if not for some refereeing decisions.

They also have to play PSG tonight and are noway secure of qualifying for the knockout stages so will need to field a strong team. We have a really good opportunity this weekend to take it to them and use their high fast press against them as they won’t be able to maintain it.
This is the problem though. More than most teams, when these are playing lights out they could easily score 3 in a 30 minute span.

Liverpool face PSG in Paris tonight. They can expect a very hard game in a very tight group.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Xherdan Shaqiri are rested, so are likely to play on Sunday. Joe Gomez and James Milner play instead. Both Nathaniel Clyne and Dominic Solanke are absent from the squad.

We are expected to lose, so really have a go for a win and see what happens. Be brave and attack them, we have to be confident and aggressive with the ball, not try and hang on. We are good enough to score, but so are they. 6 of our next 9 on TV, great for an armchair fan like myself. There have been signs of us playing really well and I am looking forward to seeing how we do in the next few. I reckon Lookman will be a hero on Sunday. I hope we are brave enough to risk losing to try and win. COYB!

Kloppo took his two CM’s off early there, that tells me he knows they’re in for a good midfield battle on Sunday.

We have a real midfield now in Gana, Gomes and Gylfi and that’s the key to us getting a result. Every time we’ve played them in the last few years the midfield has just been bypassed.

I do worry about Coleman up against Mane with his tackles in the box lately though, especially if he’s gonna dive like he did tonight.

I wouldn't mind a draw now it's a good result, but im talking in general, someone posted a stat saying weve drawn so many derbies out of so many, but we haven't won once since 2010 is it? so we can't be happy taking draws every other derby for 8 years but not winning a single one

also saying I'd take a draw isn't the same as being made up with one
Stuff the past. We have a team on the up. They have a great team but Klopp cant win anything and the fatigue excuse is ready. Kill them!!!

Come on!
