New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

What is it, a couple of miles at most from the Albert Dock to Bramley Moore. Easy walking distance, Speke to Bramley Moore would be boss, with various pick ups en route.

I was thinking it would be along the canal rather than the river as there's no jetty at AD. They may as well use the Pier Head's MF terminal if it's a river taxi.

Yeah, could use the canal and get on at the pier head, right in front of the 3 graces. Canal boats wont carry as many, but you could have loads of them. There's no locks on the way to BMD that would slow it down too much. All as part of an experience ticket.

I went on a tunnel tour of the Queensway the other night. They spoke of the old overhead railway, and mentioned talks of a new something. To be added to the front in similar fashion.
My initial thoughts went straight to mono-rail of course.

Where would all these boats come from. Couldn't see many entrepreneurs buying them for use on only 20 or so days a year.

I suspect the package will include a meal at a good restaurant in the AD. The barges would be hired for the day. I guess the bargees would be quids in.
Exactly...where there is money to be made, someone will be on it. All part of the matchday experience..a drink in town and down to the barge, dropping you right at the ground.
