I'll be in the minority of one I am sure but if our only choices for next Everton manager were Koeman and Blerto I'd pick Koeman.

Koeman has never got a side relegated either. And never finished bottom half twice with a 25 a season striker in his team. Won trophies too, harder ones to get your hands on the FA Cup. And also never said passing stats are all that matter at the end of football matches.
Koeman wasn't good enough and made big errors which hurt us but Martinez set the club back a decade easily with his lunacy. He will never succeed at any job where the criteria is more than simply to be liked by neutrals because your style of play is so kamikaze.
