The five people were on board the helicopter when the incident happened. While formal identification has not yet taken place, they are believed to be Leicester City Football Club chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, two members of his staff, Nursara Suknamai and Kaveporn Punpare, pilot Eric Swaffer and passenger Izabela Roza Lechowicz.

Terrible news. Absolutely horrific way for anybody to lose their lives. It seems the football world has lost a truly remarkable man who after what he achieved with Leicester City allowed all of football to dream the impossible again. Stories of his generosity were a regular occurance and his legacy will undoubtedly live on in Leicester and at Leicester City football club for many, many years.

RIP Vichai

If it was Vincent Tan from Cardiff.. who died in a car crash, would you still be 'in bits' ?
Not being funny here either btw.
Yes, because it's still a horrible way to die. Same if it was Peter Johnson. I'm also in the middle of a major mental breakdown and have some personal stuff going on, which doesn't help.

Whilst we have an outstanding thread for help on here, if you are having what you are describing, I'd suggest calling 111 / 101.
Wish you well mate.

Is there anyone with you that you can talk to mate? Its not great to focus on something as awful and random as this accident.

Post in the mental health thread and try and talk it out. Happy to talk about whatever if you need too.

Pretty much as expected then, there was no-one surviving a fireball like that. At least the death toll wasn't higher as it could have landed on people on the ground when it fell from the sky.

Terrible for Leicester but as long as their late owner's family stay involved in the running of the club they should be OK going forward.
