New Everton Stadium Discussion

If I recall the club said in time for the 2022/23 season.

They could easily get it built in that period. Might do half at Goodison and move to new one mid season.

It's in the FAQ. "Options being considered". Good as sorted.
"The Club has a number of funding options available which include private sector institutions.

A loan from the Government’s Public Works Loan Board, via Liverpool City Council, is also one of the options being explored.

The chosen funding solution will be finalised prior to the submission of a planning application"

How illuminating. So basically a restatement of the line from 18 months ago, give or take.

There'll be unicorns galloping across BMD before they'll secure investment for it.

At last. Someone who can put it in black and white.

This is part of the process. The ducks are being lined up.

Just get to the consultations and do your bit now; the club are doing theirs.

Yes, planning application 2 years behind the original plan of Q4 in 2017.

Huzzah.

What year did they say we would be playing in the new stadium again?? best put that back a bit further now.

Progress being made
Hearts and Minds being won next on the agenda
Timeline in place
Consultations with more than just Evertonians
PR for this is well in motion
Very organised and co-ordinated delivery of the news.
I'm happy

Where does it say 52000 let's not make things up!!!! Off FAQs

What will the capacity of the new stadium be?
The final capacity remains subject to the designs being finalised and ongoing consultation with supporters and other stakeholders. Feasibility studies and surveys with fans have already taken place and the Club is working with industry experts to assess what the optimum capacity should be. So far, a final number has not been determined. There are a number of factors that need to be taken into consideration, such as planning, size, mass and the look and feel of a stadium on the Bramley-Moore Dock site.

They've pulled away from Council funding and are still going ahead with the plan. It's progress Dave, don't get it twisted.

It's called a project stalled. No progress, just more BS spin and consultation.

Time for people to get their heads out of the sand and realise this has gone the way of all Everton stadium schemes.
