Keep the team the same as the palace game. Bernard on the left should be able to have a good go at Ashley young who struggles when coming inside. Richy up front with pace in behind smalling and lindelof.

Theyve got a shed load of pace up front, Keane might struggle in this one like he did against vardy but zouma, Coleman and digne aren't slow so hopefully they can cover well. It's a good time to play them, with their last two results aside, they're far from firing on all cylinders and we are in a decent little run of form.

Did we play on Sunday this much even when we were in the Europa league??

Anyhow it looks that utd are back to resembling a functioning club, so it will be tough. If we go at them early and get a quick goal it will make things very interesting. Let's hope Zouma can keep Rom in his back pocket, this is my universal guide to whether a defender is half decent or not.

As much as I want to see Mina, I don't think Utd is the right game to introduce him and I think Keane has earned his spot in the team with his recent performances.

Picko
Coleman - Keane - Zouma - Digne
Gomes - Gana
Walcott - Sigurdsson - Richarlison
Tosun
Accept we'll play on the counter and need that pace out wide. Gomes for balance, Gana for play breaking, Richarlison back on the left. Mola, Bernard and DCL for second-half super subs.
I really don’t think we will. Think we’ll set up to play.

Nigh on 40 years of supporting Everton have taught me many things...the overwhelming lesson being : it’s the hope that’ll kill you ...
So, that being laid out, we’ll lose this comfortably...

...Everton that.

But, it’s not all doom and gloom. We’ll amass 25 points by Xmas Day....none of them away from home, sadly

Agree they will mostly play on counter. We should take our chances when we have.

I’ll be interested to see how we fare against a decent team. I dont know if our difficulties in breaking the poorer teams down will matter in this one

A decent performance is acceptable even if we do end up with nothing imo. If we come away like the arsenal game I will be disappointed but not angry like usual. I actually fancy us to score a couple so hopefully we will get something out of this.
