Still lots to work on, but we’re progressing faster than I expected.

Still don’t look anywhere the complete package, but there is real determination about this side.

Last couple of seasons the heads would drop or we’d run out of ideas and see out the draw.

Good to see us pushing right to the end

Now we need to work on taking better control of games like this from the off!

No doubts here, there never has been...I love the fella.
He managed two crap teams in hull and Watford and was judged on them before coming here. A mate of mine was moaning like you wouldn’t believe but now he can’t get enough of him. He looks and sounds like he loves the club as well.

Crowd stuck with them, that was key.

The gwladys street felt boss today, there was a real unity and atmosphere in the second half. I think the introduction of some quality players and the aggressive decision to go 4-2-4 today helped create that. Hope Marco can keep it going and have no fear going to Old Trafford next week.
Don’t tell @mikeh72 lol

It was great today, I’m absolutely buzzing from it now. They deserved it for not giving in.

Patience is key in games like this. They were intent on nothing more than spoiling the game. Apart from a 15 minute spell in the second half when we kept giving stupid balls away, I thought the players did well to stay patient and carry on playing, rather then resort to plan B of pumping it into the box which they would’ve just eaten up all day. The crowd backed that up by staying behind the team and urging them forward as well, rather than getting irate whenever we started passing backwards.
