There's an old adage : "keep your friends close...and your enemies closer". I see Marco has taken this to heart and positioned the back-stabbing, trouble making Capt Jags and Bainesy very close to him. However, I'm surprised that the Caledonian galoot isn't also sat right next to him; I hope Marco hasn't underestimated the cone-layer's capacity to cause trouble.

I was wondering the same thing!. I imagine he might have a season-long contract with the club, advising Marco on how to counteract the back-stabbing actions of Capt Jags and Bainesy...he's kind of a poacher turned gamekeeper.

yes , the bootlace indicator is very valuable in assessing what degree of Machiavellian scheming Capt Jags is up to. Osman is obviously doing an effective counter-espionage job.
