New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

..I agree it will happen, but I also think fans reticence is perfectly understandable given the lack of communication, missed milestones and previous false dawns.

The false dawns thing I get completely due to past failed endeavours and also the lack of communication too.

But I prefer that when they do communicate it’s something they can deliver and not something open to question. As you observed on here any word on this from the club is jumped on by those with agendas to discredit the board/owner.

This will take time so unless they come out and say it’s off then people are just speculating.

One thing I would like to think we agree on is that the next bit of news I hope signals further progress.

who let him out of the home? Imagine being in your seventies and making such a sad bitter video like that haha why do kopites always jump the gun? They've been made to looks like fools so many times, but they still do this stuff. Welcoming the abuse he recieves when it's built.

How did he even managed to get the wrong dock when it says on the wall in historical stone letters the name of it? haha mind you since most scouse Kopites dont know where Anfield is im not surprised

Got to love Sky. Tottenham 'mistakes'. Our only 'mistake' was being too ambitious time-wise but it looks like we may be in for mid-Dec (vs Burnley). So 3 months late. On a project of that magnitude, 3 months is negligible.

I know a bit about your project mate, the electrical installation side of it and there’s been a lot more mistakes made than that.

I don’t know who’s funding the remedial works, cause it’s already basically being rewired however the actual installation quality with regards to the electrics of it is a disgrace.

It’ll get a ticket to open but the place is patched up to the eyeballs and seeing what’s been allowed there only raises concerns as to what else has been neglected.

I’m a sparks of 37 years standing and a few Irish lads have gone to the stadium for the big money
I’m amazed that the wiring was that bad to begin with ( from what I’ve been told ) and stunned at how quick they intend to fix it
A notch up of the highest order , but in hope it works out

September 13th:

"We will also be issuing a travel survey that will be going out in the next few weeks and publishing a project website that will keep everybody informed on our progress" - Colin Chong.

October 12th:

Nothing.

They really do take the piss. How in any way shape or form can Everton be described as a professional organisation off the pitch?

Fancy that! Everton giving a timescale and not sticking to it. Colin Chong is fitting in really well.

Well, I hear there's a FUNDAMENTAL rethink concerning funding and sources for it - though I'm not at liberty to elaborate.

I would say though that the shift represents a complete waste of the time already elapsed.

So that's almost a year to decide that they can't decide on how to finance the stadium?
