New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Think this will just be more discussions between Meis and the Club - capacity, budget etc. Not sure any of us should get our hopes up as I think Elstone moving on has seen them review the scheme. Can't see anything being revealed to get excited about, this side of Christmas. All very slow and frustrating but I still believe it will happen - it has to. The promises Meis and Elstone made on progress reports / renderings have slipped but we have to believe that it will happen. It's too depressing to even contemplate the whole thing collapsing at this point -we'd be a laughing stock (again)

"I will be in Liverpool tomorrow. Keep the faith!!"

"Keep the faith".

Lol.

How many other club's supporters promised a new stadium are treated to the proposed architect of said stadium asking them to have faith that it'll all come to fruition one day?

Even an outsider like Meis has picked up on the club's governance strategy of treating supporters like dumb converts.

Keept the faith does not sound too promising.

I'm convinced that they are afraid to tell us bad news.

At least Tottenham have a very good team and manager bringing in good football season after season.
The spurs fans probably weren't arsed about the new ground as their team were doing so well.

Our board must be hoping and praying that things pick up on the pitch before they can tell everyone how slow we are off it.
