I can't wait to see his team in action.

I imagine it'll look like this with a fully fit squad and what a team it could be:

Pickford

Coleman Mina Zouma Digne

Gueye Silva Gomes

Walcott Gyfli Bernard

Richarlison

A couple of weak links....Keeper, RB and Mina...oh and CM.

Lot of people on here giving Silva a hard time and expressing a preference for still having Allardyce at the helm. They may be conspicuous by their absence today, but you can bet your bottom dollar they'll be back in force the next game we don't take all 3 points.

I know just by relying on my own eyesight that things are 100% better under Silva. It's actually a nice feeling to look forward to watching the Blues again rather than dreading it.

But I've also had a little look at chances created and conceded under Silva and compared it with Allardyce's reign. As expected we are creating a lot more, but surprisingly, for me anyway, we are also conceding far fewer chances than we were under Allardyce.

In 8 games under Silva we have averaged 14 attempts at goal per game, 5 of which were on target. We have conceded an average of 10 attempts on goal, 3 on target. Under Allardyce we created an average of 9 chances per game, 3 on target and conceded 15 chances per game, 5 on target.

Very basic stats I know, but they suggest that our attacking play has improved by 50%, and that our defensive play has also improved by a similar percentage. For me, this just mirrors what my own eyesight is telling me.

I know it's early days and we've only played 8 league games, but I only expect us to get better as Silva get's all his players back and they get used to the new systems. Give Brands a couple more windows and I really see us starting to make inroads into the top 6.

For my money we've played two poor games. Both of those games included a whole bunch of players who wouldn't be playing if we had anything near a fully fit and available team. I think he's done well so far.

I like what Silva is doing for the club. With virtually a full strength side we have won the last two league games
This makes his extraordinary decision to forfeit the League Cup game by making 7 changes even more inexplicable and inexcusable.

3 first 11 players missing today you could argue.

Mina
Gomes
Coleman
Certainly Coleman.. Not sure about the other two yet. However if your argument is correct then we were at least 9 players short on Tuesday with 6 of them being rested or rotated or whatever
Just a crazy and diabolical decision by Silva.

So i think we finally found it. Away games we should go with the line-up that stayed till 70, at home against weak teams we should play 11 on pitch after 70', one DM, Siggy as 8 (showed he can still be dangerous and score goals) Bernard as 10, Richy and Walcott wingers Tosun as CF. It was amazing to see the team linking so well.

I am settled.
