Man City have a DoF, Txiki BegiristainHe spent £72m on Mangala and big Wilf Bony, for that reason, I’m out.
Yeah agree, I have no qualms him being in charge and I know he needs time to sort our mess out but that doesn't put him beyond criticism. It's never easy being a blue is itAs much as I hate going out early, and to a really crap Mark Hughes side, and barring a relegation threat, he still gets a free pass this season from me.
I make no promises that I won't bitch and whine though.
Slumpbusters are available 24/7/365. We do league, cup, Europe. You name it, we do it, all at very reasonable rates. (Well nothing actually!).Utd look awful. They definitely need to meet a team who can get them out of their present funk...restore their mojo...
...cue....................... Everton!!
Well, I can't argue with that.He spent £72m on Mangala and big Wilf Bony, for that reason, I’m out.
BeautifulClearing up the mess of Koemageddon is an uphill task. What's needed is stability and slow but sure progress.
Trophies will, unfortunately, have to wait.
Surely he has to experiment with a variety of pairings until he settles on ones that work ..The thing is, before the game he mentioned about not making many changes and spoke about continuity and partnerships and then went for
Baines and Bernard (1st game together left side)
Kenny and Lookman (1st game together right side)
Keane and Zouma in front of Stekkers (1st game together)
Davies and Morgan (splitting up the Davies and Gueye partnership)
Dowell behind Tosun (only 2nd game and Tosun has been badly off it link up wise)
Just too much for my liking and as soon as we went a goal down we were under pressure then to make changes to get back into it.
Kenny and Lookman have played together plenty with England youth. Davies and Morgan have been paired loads. Zouma and Keane were kept together. Everyone was calling for Bernard to start. Not like he’s played much with Digne either. Seems you’re looking for reasons that maybe aren’t there. The thing is, before the game he mentioned about not making many changes and spoke about continuity and partnerships and then went for

People moaning about the team he put out I have to ask, when would you find opportunities to give to those on the periphery of the squad if not the early rounds of the cups?
Would you lot have rather he played the stronger team in the cup and a weaker one this weekend?
He has to give those opportunities out and unfortunately bear the consequences of the decision. If he doesn't give Lookman the odd start you can bet your house on him pushing to get off again come January and so many of you were stressing that he was going to up sticks for Germany.
Why could we not play a strong side in both games though? Sane played 49 games for City last year, Sterling played 46, Bernardo Silva 53. Salah and Firmino both played over 50 times for Liverpool. All did alright though didn't they? If we reach the FA Cup final Richarlison can now start a maximum of 41 games for us this season, so why could he not have started both games this week? It's a straw man argument.People moaning about the team he put out I have to ask, when would you find opportunities to give to those on the periphery of the squad if not the early rounds of the cups?

Nowhere did I say the players were not capable of playing two or three games in a row. It's up to Lookman to work hard enough to be chosen for the team not because he might want to leave in January ha.
I'd rather he played a full strength team on Tuesday and a full strength team on Saturday - I assume Everton players can play twice in one week or can only players in the CL play twice a week?

As has been said repeatedly, making some changes is OK. Did Dowell need to play though, somebody who hasn't even been making the bench suddenly promoted to the starting XI? Do we think starting him and hooking him at half time will have been good for his confidence and better for him than just being on the bench and maybe getting a run out later on? Do we need to give 'opportunities' to a 36 year old goalkeeper who has absolutely no chance whatsoever of forcing his way into our starting XI? Are we honestly suggesting that Lookman will now be quite content to stay and not push to leave because he played an hour in the carabao cup? I would say no is the answer to all of those questions.
He gambled with his selection and it didn't pay off. It's done now, he won't be the first or last, and it won't define his career. Nobody - or nobody sane at least - is suggesting he should be sacked or under huge pressure because of this, but i'm disappointed that we didn't do our best to win a trophy and he has to take some of the blame for that. If we win on Saturday then I might come round to his way of thinking, and while i'll still be disappointed I may accept that it's helped us in the league. If we lose though, his decision will have backfired twice over, and there'll be more questioning of his decision.
