I dont rate him either mate, but he must be given time, lots and lots of time and when we are sure, I mean REALLY sure, we punt him, but hes gotta be given a fair crack.

We usually got the momentum in December under Moyes hopefully Silva can do the same. We really need to do much better than this.

After 2 dreadful home games and a poor 1st half v Fulham things were looking bad. An excellent 2nd half, 1st clean sheet and some positivity, lets build some momentum: all lashed in the bin against a bunch of cloggers and a waltzers worker who likes to score past us.

Silva failed at two poor PL clubs yet we expect him to suddenly turn us around. There is a reason he was hired by a Hull and Watford.
Koeman and Allardyce were awful but there PL records are way above this fella’s.
Nearly staying up with hull and a half decent spell with Watford are just clasping for positives, relegation and being sacked are facts.

I hope he turns it around but there have no signs he will.

Have to say I’m not convinced at this moment. If only MS can improve the home form and tighten up the defence.

Absolutely no reason for me not to start with the team from Saturday after the Leicester game we have a 15 day break

Gypsy's curse I'm afraid on us doing any good in this trophy.
I honestly won't lose any sleep over the result. What is concerning me is Silva's apparent indecision in team selection. I was one of his biggest advocates in him coming here based on what I considered he could potentially offer the club. League points at this stage of the season trump the League Cup though.

No team ever stays the same in this league, teams improve, teams get worse, no game of football EVER produces the same result over and over again, well unless its us at Anfield.
