When I price things up, I usually go by the cheapest I can get it for, not the most expensive.

So, why don't you shop at amazon? Or Sainsburys?

Sometimes to get the best deal, you have to look at more than one shop. That applies to everything. So don't moan at the industry. Moan at your local retailer, for charging the industry standard *gasp*

condescend much ? pmsl
i shop between either gamestation or tesco's becouse they have the best deals (normally) and are both a 2 minute journey .so for me its just cheaper ,convieniant and simpler to buy from them (like i say - normally).
but if i can save myself a few pounds by getting it at another shop then i will do , like anyone else would do (especially if it potentially saves me £300 over a year).
+ i can show you 10 shops and 10 different prices so there is no retail standard apart from the rrp?
despite where i get it from and for how much , my argument is still valid .... tesco/morrisons + game/gamestation havent got competative prices for fifa this year.i also bet any change i get from buying my fifa's that over the next few weeks the OFT will look into the prices set by the companys mentioned.

on another note ...... apparently the game is very good , but there a few bugs popping up already........players dissapearing from squad lists , fake shot not working , and the game freezing in manager mode.

Sorry mate, didn't mean to be condescending. It's just that quite simply, I think the point you're trying to make is a bit... pointless. Even for £40, most games -- and especially FIFA games -- are great value.

Bug-wise, it's quite normal. Thankfully in this day and age, things can be and are patched.

Although you could argue that because of patches, less effort is put into thorough games testing, but that's another can of worms :P

thinking about it ..... ive had a grand and half bill this week so i think im perhaps a bit touchey today when it comes to cash.

i felt hard done by earlier when i bought fudge bars thats now costs 17p each , thats how tight i am today :)

dont even get me started on the price of curly wurlys and the size of em nowadays.
are they smaller , or is it im just bigger ? :)

my mrs shut me up this morning , apparently last years fifa actually cost me £35 for my copy (my boy got his for 25 the next day).
the price was £25 but the mrs picked it up for me and only got £5 change from £40 , thinking she only handed over £30 , and didnt notice untill it was to late to do anything about it.
the tesco price this year is £37 .49 and there must have been 300+ in the line for it at midnight.

on to the game ....... love it !! it is really really smooth and fluid.
the everton stats can do with a bit of boosting imo (everton are only 4 stars overall this year) and some of the faces look a bit dodge (heitinga and jags faces are laughable)

ive come down with a bad cold today so ive only played a handful of matches so far so i cant comment in much detail yet , but theres not much to complain about so far.
but ea have done what they did with tiger woods 2010 and added the online code feature - 1 disk = 1 player = 1 code , other codes for multiple users have to be bought and second hand/traded in versions will also have to pay for an extra code.
the live season updates are also not sponsered again this year - so have to be bought with ms points.

ok , whos for setting up a league and a club then ?

btw gamertag ... uknightbreed

Had it in my hand in the Asda, i waited a full 10 minutes to be served, apparently what one was wearing tonight and discussing it with her mate from another department was more important than serving me.

Serves me right for venturing to Huyton really..

The FIFA 11 passing is abysmal.

Apparantly Xavi has a tendency to pass to invisible players in Row Z in real life, and is therefore reflected so in the game.

How accurate can you actually be passing / shooting with an analogue stick??

and the players get knackered quick.

Translation: "I've just been spanked 8-1 against "MuFc1996".

in my first match i did have a bit of a problem with passing , but i switched passing assistance on (its off by default) and its much easier . will keep it on untill i atleast get used to the game.

passing and shooting is done with the a and b button on my set up. using the analogue to do these will do me head in.
as for players getting knackered , its to stop people constantly sprinting.
tip : if you turn analogue sprint on in the controller options you have much more control over the speed and stamina of your player.
