How many times did we say "if moyes had a billionaire owner, we would be going for the title", he lacked quality players because they cost too much, but in terms of grit and determination and getting the best out of players he was better then anyone, the crowds have been flat aswell since he left.
If marco silva continues this poor run of form, he is worth considering.
And he has completely failed since, he found a decent formula with a midfielder that could score goals but also work hard(cahill) football had moved on and he hasnt

not really.
add quality players to his hard work and you could have something.

players like mosua dembele and zaha would make a massive difference, someone like rashford upfront. throw in their the hard work moyes would expect from the team and you could have something

Are you really referring back to Moyes' past finishes and suggesting we'd revert to type if he came back? He's as archaic as you are.

So....where are we going to get a decent striker from....? In January ? Who is available then?

Luis Suarez to Liverpool was a January window signing. A young Yakubu to Portsmouth was a January signing. As was Arshavin to Arsenal, Zaha back to Palace, Defoe to Spurs and Arteta to Everton.

There's plenty of duff January deals as well but the right deal can often be found somewhere. That's the kind of thing that spending millions on scouting and recruitment is supposed to sort out.

Moyes had a bit of money and spent ok with it but with major money in this day and age he is out of his depth. The job is too big for him now. He's an old school dinosaur with out dated coaching methods. There is no future for him here or in the Premier League, in my opinion.

What about that Josh King from Bournemouth?

Moyes has basically hinted he has unfinished business here.
I would take him back in a heartbeat.

He has his experiences around Europe now, he will also get a transfer budget that he always wanted.

Look at the league finishes when Moyes was here and since he left.

Look at the league finishes for David Moyes since he left us.

The game left him behind years ago.
