Still giving him a pass for this whole season personally.

I will judge him from next August.

More than anything we need stability, we cant just keep sacking managers, we have to give them time.
Im not sure about a pass for the whole season, but he should judged when he has all his summer signings available to him for selection especially Mina as that is such a problem area for us, and we need 1 or 2 serious, proper signings in the winter window. As much as i don't like the 4-2-3-1 as a system in general, i think it's harsh to judge before any manager has had at least 10 games, it's too early at the moment despite a poor showing from manager and players today.

Silva is beset by injuries to quality players. He's having to make do with one or two average guys.
Let's see what happens when he has a fit squad to draw on.

He doesnt like the 4-2-3-1 himself, he would much rather play 4-3-3, thats why im giving him a full season pass, 3 windows should be enough to get in the right kind of players and implement his tactics over 12 months.

Now its not an open pass, if we are rock bottom at Xmas he ofc gets punted, but top half and then as I say next season we go again!

West Ham arent the worst team in the league, not a chance they go down this season.

We have had loads of injuries, suspensions, we have players struggling for fitness all over the squad, I think you will find I can do what I want Kev.
At the start of today’s game they were factually the worst team in the league

Got to be honest here this will be unbelievable if he manages to do worse than fat Sam with a better pool of players.

Highlight of the day was seeing him in that little box and thinking about the good times we had and how we miss those days. Maybe one day we can get back to where had had us.

And this statement is proof of why we will never go anywhere. Moyes improved us at first but let's not pretend they were halcyon days. If we'd have had any money or an ounce of ambition, Moyes would have been punted long before his 11 years were up.

People throw up the uncertainty that has followed as proof that Moyes was the man. Yet he took years of yoyoing positions to stabilise us and is remembered for getting us to 4th with a paltry 61 points and a negative goal difference; whilst still an achievement how many other seasons would that have even got us in the top 6? Whilst I am no fan of Moyes even I was surprised at how few wins and how many poor results we actually got during his 'good seasons' when I recently looked back at our points total and results season on season.

Everyone sites Martinez as being a charlatan when, if you take his end performance into account they were no worse than Moyes really over his first three seasons. The issue is that since the turn of the millennium, we have never really had a manager worthy of this club. When you think of Smith, Moyes, Martinez, Koeman and Allardyce how do you not shudder? Of those, yes Moyes stabilised the club and Martinez at least showed some ambition and tried to play better football. The fact that that is all we can say about our managerial 'talent' down the years speaks volumes.

Silva may not be the answer, and this season comes with several concerns, but many of these have been problems for a long time. We should support him for now and a see what happens. But even if you are not happy, for God's sake stop lauding David Moyes will you?!!!

Don't think anybody can argue with that but from - Wolves, Southampton (H) Bournemouth, Huddersfield (H) and West Ham (H) we are sitting on a -1 goal difference. We still look vulnerable to the exact same things we were last season despite not facing any side of note.

I do think we have been unlucky in one or two of the above games but you look at those 5 fixtures and we should be doubling our points tally.

What about something like 14th?
