I suspect he has rather more of a clue than anyone on here though.I suspect Kenwright doesn't have a clue what's happening with the stadium.

bcblue1878, your Dad was probably in the boys' pen with me and my brother. I was 12 years old. Sorry to hear he is not with us now. Can't say I was at the Coventry game (fortunately!) moved away from Liverpool in 1951.
I suspect Kenwright doesn't have a clue what's happening with the stadium.
My hero Peter Farrell played in that game. He told me the ground was full at lunchtime.
What you've seen over the last few days is a bit of activity surrounding shares and BK using TalkSport to make vague noises about the stadium "progressing".Been over 6 months since the AGM and still not so much as a whisper about any potential funding outside of the council deal which hasn't actually been put to paper yet.
Doesn't look like progress to me.
At the end of the day all I can see that we have to this project is an agreement to lease the land from Peel and a few drawings from Meis.

There is no way we'll be moving into that ground before 2025 if it even happens at all, we won't even have submitted planning permission by 2021.Even 2022 will be tight now.
Best case scenario if planning goes in soon is the build starting in start the middle of 2019. If 2022 is the aim that's only three years including all the prep work (draining the dock etc) and surrounding transport/infrastructure work. Also doesn't give you a lot of leeway if something goes wrong like (just plucking an example from the air here), wiring within the fire detection systems.

That's just to fill a vacuum that might / will develop concerning lack of substantial movement on funding / planning application.
It's textbook Everton.
There's nothing happening. And I wouldn't be surprised if Everton and other players who might be prepared to commit to the docklands project are waiting on broader economic / financial indicators to make themselves known before deciding to go ahead with this scheme.
Not being funny but why exactly would you be expecting to hear details of finance deals between a private company and potential lenders? Are there any other deals to reference that have seen finance discussions leaked or discussed publicly?
As revealed by Telegraph Sport in November, former American sports agent Moorad has held discussions with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy over his interest in putting money into the club and appointed a UK-based adviser to help him.
It is understood that since the initial discussions, Moorad has sought extra backing from China and elsewhere, and sources in America even claim a term sheet has been signed over a proposal, although that remains unconfirmed
When the Cain Hoy interest emerged, Spurs said it had spoken to a number of investment groups about stadium financing and that Cain Hoy was one of them.
It's a known unknown based on the slippage from the original hoped for timeline. You don’t know this at all.
all this talk of shares and finance at the moment, yet the season ticket window has closed, am I missing something? What’s going on?!?
