He's effective and scores more goals than DCL. DCL has scored a brace today against Rotherham but how did he do last season in the Premier League?

Out of the two right now on the minute if we brought another striker in I'd send DCL on loan because Oumar, despite all odds and footballing ability considered, got the job done last season in the premier league when it counted and when we needed it and I trust him to do what he does.

And I'm not particularly arsed about the goals being pretty or not. I just want lots.

I know he's a popular character but I have no confidence in his quality.

He can be a useful player to cause havoc coming off the bench under the right circumstances.

Tonight taught us nothing new tbh. Hes not useful as a starter. His strengths are his pace, work rate, closing down and finishing. Hes literally the prototype of an impact sub. Will have lots of useful 5-10 minute cameos this season no doubt

I know people like him , I probably do and I know he’s scored important goals here and there but I find it so hard to look passed him being woeful . I know his record , I desperately want him to succeed and I’d love my opinion on him to be wrong , i’d Love it to be me simply not seeing what he brings to the table other than energy and enthusiasm but for the life of me I just can’t see a footballer in there .
