Hi mate. Generally feeling positive about things so far, a few concerns around the defence though. Looks like you'll have Hogg suspended for this game, I see you've struggled for goals, just one shot on target at home v Cardiff must be a bit underwhelming? Which of your lot should we watch out for?

I honestly don't think I can give you an answer for that, the only new signing we've seen much of is Hamer who had a good preseason but was pretty awful against Chelsea and City, maybe a saving grace he was injured and subbed off against Cardiff. We actually looked pretty good first half against Chelsea, their first goal was against the run of play and for about 20 minutes or so we dominated attack but once their first goal went in and then we conceded a pen just before halftime it was heads down in second half. Didn't really give it a go against City and against Cardiff we were the better team for 60 minutes until the red card but we just didn't give our striker any service and the team selection was odd, no Pritchard?

Anyway, there doesn't seem to be any shining stars yet so can't say who you should watch out for. Hoping Danny Williams is back from injury to replace Hogg!

Good luck for the rest of your season anyway, you lot were the friendliest bunch I came across last year!

I hope you don't kick start your season on Saturday mate.
Even if you do I think the second season syndrome might grab you.
Think Cardiff are nailed on, who are your two others?

If we carry on as we've started then we're for the drop. We can only get better though, surely!

In all fairness, we, as fans, know we're a Championship side and if we get relegated we'll be in a much stronger position than we were before we got promoted, the money the club has made has been invested in the training facilities as well as the squad and Dean Hoyles not stupid, he'll have years of plans figured out. As much as the Premier League is great, playing against world-class players and teams, there aren't as many highs as we experienced in the Championship where we are much more able to compete. I'm not saying I want us to get relegated as I know that maybe with some more PL money and investment in the squad we could maybe become more comfortable but it's not pretty at the moment and when you're spending £70-£100 for each away game and not even seeing a goal, never mind a win, it makes you think twice!

Anyway, here's hoping that we'll hit our stride and things will improve.

Good luck to you guys this season!

I personally had toon to go down, with Burnley doing bad-if they got proper europa league, but doing bad at min, think cardiff/toon and another, also think Everton hopefully win next week,my prediction is 3-1 to us,whats your prediction Terrier

Well that 1 is ambitious based on what we've seen so far but here's hoping for a reaction so I'd be happy just to see a goal :celebrate:

I think 2-1 with a consolation goal from Pritchard.

Good luck to you guys this season!

If you miss the championship so much well your in luck because we have a Championship defense. I think you are in trouble this year, but 2 teams aren't even trying (Cardiff and NUFC, though Rafael can usually figure something out) + Soton and everyone's favorite mess West Ham. I can't really predict an outcome b/c we are minus our best player.

Anyway the big change with us is that while we won't break the top 6 we seem to be a fun watch these days w/ our goal scoring and clamality defense. Which I'm assuming most of the fanbase is cool with after being managed by the Lizard people.

Sadly I can't see anything but relegation for Huddersfield. I think last year you guys being a bit unknown early saved you and that clearly isn't happening again. Quality wise it just isn't there outside of Mooy. I'd stick with Wagner and hope that he can build something over time like Dyche did with Burnley and maybe you'll be the surprise package at some point.
