Throwing in new players (especially those new to the league) straight away does more to undermine them. He'll be the starting left back for the majority of this season but he'll be phased in like the rest results permitting.

Reliably informed that Lucas Digne has picked up a slight injury and that is why he is not involved today. Expected, at this stage, he will be fit for next weekend’s game with Bournemouth.
